The cost of each puppy now includes a Virtual Training Consultation with Kovas’s Legacy Dog Training. The consultation will be held either the week prior to your new puppy’s arrival or within the first 72 hours of the puppy being home, whichever you prefer. Not only does the owner of Kovas’s Legacy Dog Training have 5 Burnsberg pups, she has nearly 25 years experience owning and training Siberian Huskies so has a solid understanding of what works best for this amazing breed. Trainer Alyssa Schwartz has trained two of her BurnsBurg huskies, Amarok and Vhagar, to serve as medical alert service dogs.
During the consultation, she will go over everything you need to know to set your puppy up for success: best equipment (collars, leashes, brushes), tips for an easy transition, guidance on introducing the puppy to family members and other dogs in the home, a potty training schedule, and conditioning the puppy to a crate. Even if you do not intend to have the puppy crated when you are not home, calm crate behavior is an important skill needed for veterinary emergencies and air travel.
For BurnsBerg puppy owners only, Kovas’s Legacy also offers a 6-session Virtual Puppy Kindergarten where basic obedience skills (sit, down, stay, recall), leash etiquette, and socialization strategies are taught using a combination of live virtual sessions and pre-recorded videos to demonstrate these concepts for you to work on at home. Alyssa is also an AKC Approved Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, offering virtual evaluations of Burnsberg huskies for all levels of AKC Trick Dog as well as Virtual Home Manners.

Huskies are a little more challenging then a little short haired dog so let us help you out by putting together the pawfect grooming bundle. This includes several brushes & rakes, a scissor kit, a nail kit, a gallon of shampoo that we use and recommend and a lick matt to keep your puppy busy while you get to work. If you choose to get the blower you won't be sorry. We use ours on puppies and our big dogs and it blows out that shed so much easier, omgosh we absolutely love ours. Wooly huskies take furever to dry but not so bad with these awesome blowers.

This is our nuvet supplements package which provides you with 6 months worth of nuvet supplements. Our dogs take these daily for life and helps avoiding that zinc deficiency thats known in the husky breed. Also huskies are known to be finicky eaters so they need a multivitamin to provide on those picky eating days. I truly believe thats why our dogs have the best coats and we've never seen hot spots or zinc deficiency in our pack.

This is our crate package which gives you 2 crates. One for potty training which is small and a huge super durable crate for when your husky is full grown.
