NEW PUPPY PARENTS:

Crate-schedule-routine FOLLOW THRU-don’t teach too much too quick. Focus on potty training first then one command at a time. BE PATIENT!!!!!! PUPPIES ARE NEWBORN BABY so don’t expect to much out of her. Human Babies wear diapers for first two years for a reason!!!!! Some people get there puppy home and expect them to know and do it all immediately or within a week, reality check.....U just purchased a living newborn. If U set a schedule literally every hour your puppy will learn it so quick. They want rules and a routine. Set 3 feeding times and a bed time. schedule play times. Take puppy potty immediately after feedings and be patient. Take puppy potty every 45 minutes for first few days until U learn it’s schedule. Puppies drink excessively, so don’t leave it down all day for first month. Offer water every hour or so.

Puppy stress can cause loose stools. A natural probiotic such as canned pumpkin (1 teaspoon daily for 7 days) or another probiotic such as benebac plus, probios, or FortiFlora is highly recommended. Puppies put EVERYTHING in there mouths and bacteria lives on just about everything. A probiotic replaces the bad bacteria with good bacteria.

Lots of fun safe toys such as antlers, nylabones, ANYTHING/EVERYTHING that squeaks they love. All toys must be supervised at all times. NEVER put toys in crates that is very unsafe. Frozen peas & blueberries are great teething treats, however Not too many treats in the beginning, every little change equals diarrhea.

Puppies bite bcuz they are teething. Gently, Close puppies mouth til he/she lets out a lil cry/yelp then a FIRM NO! This doesn’t hurt them, they just don’t like it. Hand puppy a toy immediately after.

One word commands only. Sit-Stay-NO-Come-Kennel-OUCH-Shake-Go-Stop-Down, ect.........

I highly recommend a good obedience puppy class starting after all puppy shots are completed. I do not recommend pet store classes such as petsmart, Huge waste of money. Research classes a bit, an independent/private trainer is so much better and also more experienced and more one on one.

U bought a Newborn puppy, only 8 weeks of age and all this is so very new for U and your excited yet a lil nervous. Guess what?????? EVERYTHING your puppy has ever known and Everyone your puppy has ever known in it’s life so far has just been taken away. So your puppy is also very nervous, yet excited.

EVERYTHING IS A PHASE, Each is about 6 weeks long depending on your method.

I’m going to say this one more time:
PLEASE BE PATIENT!

Any Questions and your Husky Family is right here. Thank U Everyone and again, WELCOME TO THE PACK ❤️🐺
